The Top of The Lake Snowmobile Museum, Naubinway, Michigan
Upper Michigan Antique & Vintage Snowmobiles

Antique and Vintage Snowmobile Events
Welcome to The Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum Annual Snowmobile Events.  We currently hold two major antique snowmobile events annually that is suitable for the entire family:  The Annual Top of the Lake Swap Meet and the Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show and Ride.  Both are held in Naubinway, Michigan.  Naubinway has a uniqueness of character that provides a rich history of the region including a variety of ties to snowmobiling and winter sports.  Naubinway is located at the northern most tip of Lake Michigan in the beautiful Upper Peninsula, on US Hwy 2.

In 2016, the Museum added a new event:

Dec 14, 2019 - Join us for the fourth annual "Snowmobile the Mighty Mac" crossing of the Mackinac Bridge. All snowmobiles 25 years & older are welcome. They must have a legal registration or the Historic Registration, a wheel kit with at least 2" wheels, and no studs or cleats. A lunch will be included in the cost, at the Little Bear East Arena. Others not participating in the bridge crossing may purchase a lunch for $10. Call the St. Ignace Visitor's Bureau for registration and details - 906-643-6950. Registration will be online or by phone.

In 2013 & 2014, the Museum added 2 more annual events:

St. Ignace Snowmobile/Tractor Show is held the 2nd Sat. in September in St. Ignace, MI at the Little Bear Arena. St. Ignace has been hosting the annual Owosso Tractor Show for the last few years. Over 1000 tractors cross the Mackinac Bridge on that Friday. In 2014 the St. Ignace Chamber invited us to bring snowmobiles to show inside the Arena, with the tractors parked in the parking lot outside of the Arena. This was a great mix!  It sounds like some of the tractor people will be bringing snowmobiles next year. This year's show will be Sept 6 & 7, 2019. There is no charge to display your snowmobiles. For more information and to register, please contact Marilyn at the Museum. 906-477-6298
